I'm using Springsource Tool Suite 3.5.1 with the Grails extension loaded. From within the Grails perspective, I added a Groovy class "testGroovy.groovy". I write valid groovy script statements in the class. Looking at the hot key cheat sheet window for "Alt-Shift-X" it says "Alt-Shift-X-G" to run groovy scripts. I then go to run it using the short cut "Alt-Shift-X-G" and nothing happens. However, if I run it with "Alt-Shift-X-J" it works.
Is this a bug, or am I missing something? I'm very new to Grails, so I'm just concerned that I'm missing something about Grails development (like putting the script in the wrong path, or something that violates convention).
EDIT: bug filed as http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GRECLIPSE-890
