How to choose a Framework for a Project??

How do we know that we have to choose "Spring Framework" or "Struts Framework" for a proejct?? How do we decide it??

If I were in your situation, I will do my homework of building a prototype and measure the advantages and disadvantages of each framework. I would also check on forums and user groups and seek help that way as well. Spring has a nice integration with struts and in fact I have worked on a real world project using Spring and Struts.
