How to get pet clinic par into eclipse?

Hi Peter,

A new version of the Petclinic sample that includes up-to-date SpringSource Tool Suite metadata will be available soon. This update will allow you to import the sample into STS via the Import Existing Projects into Workspace wizard.

I was beginning to wonder if the spring team used notepad to build the sample app ;) I occasionally run into developers (usually somewhat older, but not always) who see no value in the IDES (eclipse/NetBeans/IntelliJ).
