Hallo -- I am currently learning Spring using the Eclipse plugin, and was wondering if anyone could post me any advice on using Tomcat from the IDE?
I seem to remember seeing a reference to Tomcat being embedded in Eclipse -- if anyone knows how this is done, or had any pertinent links, I'd be very grateful.
Or if there's just any good advice about how to output to Tomcat, that'd be great, too.
Thanks in advance for any & all assistance,
doug.

Look at the eclipse plug-in site for Sysdeo Eclipse Tomcat Launcher.

I'm not quite sure what you're looking for but this is now I integrate Tomcate with Eclipse. It allows me to manage (stop/start/reload) Tomcate from Eclipse. It also displays the console in the eclipse window.

Write errors/logs to console when this is installed and you will see everything in the eclipse window.

Let me know if this helps.

Hi, Tomcat support is integrated in Eclipse Web Tools Project.
The project homepage is http://www.eclipse.org/webtools/index.html
