SessionFactory Info

Hi all,
Can anybody please explain me why we need
org.springframework.orm.hibernate.LocalSessionFact oryBean and
org.springframework.orm.hibernate.HibernateInterce ptor in our
application.I think first one creates sessionfactory but why we need
session factory.Please explain.
