Is this release scheduled to appear in the Maven repo (I'm talking http://shrub.appspot.com/maven.springframework.org/milestone/org/springframework/data/gemfire/, referenced from the Spring Gemfire download page; if there's another one to use, kindly point me in its direction please) any time soon? The latest one that's there right now is 1.1.0.M3.

That's the milestone repo and as such, contains only milestones. Take a look at the proper GA releases one:

Thanks for the pointer. It would've been nice to have this link on the download page as well. BTW, it seem to have changed with the recent reorganization, the 1.1.1 release is at http://shrub.appspot.com/maven.springframework.org/release/org/springframework/data/spring-data-gemfire/
