Not able to start RabbitMQ server on localhost

Hello ,

I downloaded and installed Rabbit MQ server 2.7.1 and during the installation also installed the Erlang OTP installer. Once the installation is complete, when I try to start the service, am able to start the service but am not able to start the server using rabbitmq-server.

I am getting the below message -

Activating RabbitMQ plugins
0 plugins activated:

ERROR: epmd error for host - Unable to establish tcp connection

Can someone let me know how to proceed?
