I took a look at the docking window solution from www.infonode.net and I really liked it for its simple API and solid performance. (I just hate the gaps between the RootWindows and frame borders. Anyone know to get rid of them?). That makes me wonder if rcp can have its own windows manager, since infonode has a conflict license with Spring. I guess that's why people jump on Eclipse since it offered them all.

what is confilict licence - you have gpl and comercial licence for infonode and it isn't conflict

for gaps you ask on infonode list - I agree, it is ugly

Thank you for your post which referred to IDW.

I meant GPL was an infectious license, unlike Apache license that Spring uses.

I knew I should - but the mailing list won't take me. Mails bounced back.

if you develop gpl you can use idw free, but If you develop comerciall application You have to by idw license - You have JIDE framework, too and You have use free for open source (gpl), but You haven't source

flexdock is free complete, but it have less features
